Take the time to invest in robust audience research before creating a content marketing plan. Once you have a content marketing plan, communicate goals, KPIs, and results regularly to all team members, writers, and stakeholders.

Who’s your current brand crush, and what do you love about them?
I write for several ecomm SaaS companies but also do marketing for a DTC subscription brand called Reading With RIK. I'm really crushing on Crunch Labs. They are the gold standard for kids' subscription boxes.

What’s your favorite data point to dive into? Why?
Ohhhh...this is a good question. It's kind of like picking a favorite movie--impossible. Since I'm a content marketer, I'd say time on page is an essential metric. It shows how many people are actually reading and gaining value from content.
