As an expert in your space, can you share one small but actionable tip for brands?
Ask your CFO or accountant to prepare a contribution margin analysis for your brand. This will show you what percentage of every sale goes toward covering your operating expenses and will help you understand how much revenue you need to hit break even.

Who’s your current brand crush, and what do you love about them?
I LOVE May Lindstrom - May, the founder, is the definition of the word authentic and is truly guided by passion - not money. She recently made the decision to cut all wholesale relationships to prioritize relationships with the consumer and still makes all of her skin and body care products by hand, signs every note in the packaging herself, is super disciplines about keeping a tight assortment, and continues to surprise and delight with every product.
