As an expert in your space, can you share one small but actionable tip for brands?
To ensure successful PR for CPG brands, you must set up an affiliate program before starting PR efforts. Also, ensure your value and mission statements are concise and clear on all platforms - social, website, newsletters, etc.

Who’s your current brand crush, and what do you love about them?
My brand crush is Henné Organics. I was lucky enough to work with the founder via KLRPR, a boutique PR practice in LA. The lip products and face oil have completely transformed my lips and skin. My skin and lips are extra dry and it's uncomfortable at times - with the Henné products I feel subtle, glowly and hydrated. I love how simple and chic their branding is. You'll always find a sprinkle of inspiration in their social and newsletters. Overall, the brand and the products give me a boost!

How should someone approach you about working together?
I work as a consultant or contractor with agencies and I take on a couple of clients of my own. I am open to new contracts and/or clients. You can email me to set up a meeting to discuss your PR needs.

What’s your favorite data point to dive into? Why?
Because I focus on mission-driven communications, I like diving into data about consumer behavior and values. A 2021 study from SurveyMonkey (published in AdWeek) says: "78% of consumers said they made a purchase decision based on values in the past year. In addition, 55% of consumers polled said they are much more likely to purchase from a company that shares their values." This information supports communications strategies for my clients.
